Kennedy Space Center is a working spaceflight facility, and tours, films and exhibits may be altered or closed due to operational requirements. The amount of time suggested for each attraction is estimated, and times may vary according to season. We look forward to your visit!

Welcome Aboard

At Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, you and your family can encounter extraordinary adventures including, standing under the massive rockets that first put NASA astronauts into space, getting vertical on your own shuttle launch experience, and even meeting a veteran astronaut.

Important Information


$10 per automobile or motorcycle, $15 per motor home/RV. Annual pass holders receive complimentary parking with proof of a valid annual pass. All vehicle traffic is routed to a parking toll plaza equipped with parking toll booths.

Wheelchairs / Strollers

As a courtesy to our guests, wheelchairs and strollers are available at the Visitor Complex and each of our tour destinations. To obtain one, please see a crewmember at our wheelchair/stroller distribution area located inside the Visitor Complex adjacent to Information Central. Wheelchairs may be rented for $10 plus tax, and strollers may be rented for $5 plus tax.


For the safety of our guests and crewmembers, the following items are not permitted at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex:

  • Fire arms of any type (with or without a permit)
  • Ammunition (live or spent)
  • Pepper/mace sprays
  • Knives larger than a typical pocket knife with a blade greater than 3" in length
  • Automatic (switchblade) type knives
  • Box cutters or similar items
  • Any other large items with sharp edges or pointed ends

Additionally hard-sided coolers, luggage and other large bags are not permitted through the front gate and alcohol may not be brought onto the premises.

All bags, purses and other items may be opened and inspected at the Visitor Complex at the discretion of Security Management. If any of the above items are discovered, you will be asked to return them to your vehicle. If you choose not to return the items to your vehicle, you must surrender them to a security officer. Surrendered items will not be returned to you.
